Templates keep your changes when you switch

Change a template, try another, and come back to find it the way you left it. A background you upload now shows on every template.

Each template remembers the settings you changed on it, for the 20 templates you used most recently.
Upload a background, or use one of your reel images as the background, and it shows on the other templates too. Its blur, opacity and crop come with it.
Give one template a different background and it keeps that one. The uploaded background still shows on the rest.
Background has its own Reset, which puts back the template's own background.

Two hands and Sideboard: two new mockup scenes

Two hands frames a phone between two open hands on any background. Sideboard puts a monitor on a dark fluted sideboard, in your own colours, with a second screen.

Open Mockups and pick Two hands under Phone. Background takes any colour, gradient, wallpaper or image of your own.
Pick Sideboard under Display. There is a laptop version under Laptop, without the second screen.
On Sideboard, Background sets the wall and Circle Color sets the circle behind the monitor.
Second Screen has three choices. Off takes it out, Dark leaves it switched off, and Site loads your website on it in its tall layout.
Zoom in on either scene to fill the frame with the screen.

Loupe: a drop of glass rolls over your work and clears each piece

Your work is laid out as a dithered contact sheet. A drop of liquid glass lands on the first piece, spreads to its shape, and the picture comes up clean with its name under it. Then it lets go and rolls to the next. After the last one the glass floods the frame and your name rises.

Name each project and its name and type show under the piece while the glass rests on it. A count keeps track of where you are.
Hold Duration is the length control: how long the glass rests on each piece.
Refraction and Dispersion set how hard the rim bends the picture and how much colour it splits. Dither Size and Depth Fade set how rough and how dark the sheet is away from the glass.
Pick one of six endings for your closing line, from the glass flooding the sheet to the pieces scattering around your name.

Mockups: paste a link and get your site in a mockup video

Paste your site link. It loads on a laptop, phone, tablet or display inside a photo scene, scrolls by itself, and exports as a video.

Open Mockups, paste your link, and pick a scene. There are 34, from a desk at night to a billboard.
The page always fits the screen. No mockup files, no screen recording, no resizing.
A timeline under the stage sets where the page stops and how fast it scrolls. Press Space to play it.
Press Capture mockup to record it and download the video. Capturing needs Chrome or Edge on a desktop.
Some sites refuse to load inside another page. For those, upload a screen recording instead.

Manage your plan without leaving Reelfolio

Switch to yearly, cancel, or keep a plan you cancelled. It is all in Settings now.

Open Settings and press Manage billing. Your plan shows what you pay and when it renews.
Switch to yearly from there if you want to pay less per month.
Cancel plan is in the same menu. You keep access until the date you paid through.
Changed your mind? Press Keep my plan before that date and nothing changes.
If your plan is ending or a payment failed, Settings and the editor show the date.
Payment method and Invoices are in the same menu too.

Export showreels as WebM

Pick WebM next to MP4 when you export a showreel.

Open Export and choose WebM under Format. Aspect ratio, quality and frame rate work the same as for MP4.
Reels with music, sound effects or videos export as MP4 for now. Hover WebM to see what to change.
If your browser can’t make the WebM, the message says why and what to do, and Export as MP4 makes the file in one click.

Showreel exports are up to 20x faster

Press Export and your showreel is ready much sooner, up to 20x faster than before.

The editor stays smooth while a reel exports, so you can keep working.
Your file downloads as soon as it is done, and a copy is saved to your library.
Reels with music, sound effects or videos export the way they did before.

Time to make one export frame, before and now: the slowest template went from 1,330 ms to under 58 ms
