Split one image into a carousel.

Drop a wide image, pick 2, 3, or 4 pieces, and see how they land in a real X post before you download them. Nothing is uploaded. The split happens in this tab.

One image in. Three slides out.

Equal pieces, cut on exact pixels, numbered in the order you post them.

3 pieces, 1192 px tall each. Attach 1, 2, 3 in that order.

How to split an image into 3 parts

Three steps, about fifteen seconds, no account.

1

Drop the image

Drag a file in, click to pick one, or paste a screenshot straight from the clipboard. Wide images make the best carousels.

2

Pick the split

3 across for an X carousel, 3 x 3 for an Instagram grid, or set columns and rows yourself. Cut lines land on the image and the X preview shows the post as you go.

3

Download the pieces

Save one piece, or take all of them as a zip. They come out numbered in post order, so nothing gets attached upside down.

Why split at all?

Same screenshot, same post width. The difference is how much height X gives it.

Posted whole

X sizes media against the post width, so a wide screenshot lands short. The detail goes with it.

Split 3 across

Each piece is its own slide at the full height cap, about three times taller, with the next one peeking. People swipe them in the order you attach.

What people split

Same cut, six different reasons.

X carousels

Cut a wide shot into 2, 3, or 4 slides. Each one fills the post at full height instead of a strip nobody can read, and the post becomes a swipe.

Instagram profile grids

Split a hero image 3 x 3, post the nine pieces in reverse, and the top of your profile becomes one big image.

Panorama posts

A panorama squeezed into one frame is unreadable. Split into strips and each slide gets a real crop of the scene.

Sprite and icon sheets

A sheet of icons or frames laid out on an even grid comes back as separate files, named in order.

Posters across pages

Cut a big artwork into tiles you can print on regular paper and tape back together at size.

Triptychs and case studies

Three panels of one photo, ready to frame, or a wide case-study board split into slides a client can page through.

Nothing is uploaded

The split happens on a canvas in your tab. The file never reaches a server, ours or anyone else’s.

Exact pixels, no seams

Cuts land on whole pixels and tile the original perfectly. Rejoin the pieces and you get your image back.

No signup, no watermark

Unlimited splits, full resolution out, commercial work included.
